Previous Reviews: I was referred to Tim Palmer by a friend who had been one of his clients for about 2 years. I was skeptical as I am vey picky with my skincare services but I thought I would give it a try as I did not really have a steady esthetician. I came in for an eyebrow wax and ended up getting a back wax and microdermabrasion. Tim is not only friendly but very thorough and detail oriented, especially in the waxing department. His prices are very competitive and he can do it all. I now come to him on a regular basis for eyebrow waxing(very picky with that), manscaping , microdermabrasion and peels. He will even wax your nose if you need it. Overall, I’m very happy with Tim.
Yesterday morning I decided to do some trimming downstairs. Yep, not a smart decision because I chose to use a pair of scissors and yes, big mistake. So I decided it was coming off, and it was finally worth the embarrassment of having it waxed.
I’ve heard so much about Tim Palmer in Hillcrest and decided to give him a call. Fortunately for me, I was able to schedule an appointment with him the same day. I kind of felt bad because I had built up a level of anxiety about the whole thing. I mean come on! Women have this done all the time, so what’s the big deal, right? So I walked into the shop and found Timothy preparing a room. He greeted me, and when I started in the room I’m sure he sensed my thoughts, because boy, this guy put me at ease quicker than a warm cup of milk at bedtime! We had a genuinely real conversation mostly about nothing…lol…(like the talks you have with your best friends). It really put me in the state of ” total comfort”…. I came to him, to get my privates properly groomed, and left thinking…..”That was really a good time!” He took the time and patience to not only competently perform the services requested, but offered to cleanup my D-I-Y job. So needless to say, I am so honored to take the time to write this review. Timothy Palmer is the man to see! PERIOD
I’m not going to lie — it was one of the most excruciatingly painful experiences of my life. But Timothy couldn’t have been sweeter or more professional. He makes you feel incredibly safe and comfortable, even as he’s pulling your member this way and that in order to cover all areas.
His easygoing, funny, non-creepy personality definitely made the whole experience less traumatic. And his prices are almost obscenely low — $35 for a solid hour of work.
I walked away as smooth as the day I was born, albeit with some waxing bumps that Timothy swears will go away quickly.
I would heartily recommend Timothy Palmer to other men wanting to beautify their junk. (And yes, it did make everything look bigger.)
Previous Review: I had my first waxing experience with Tim. The facilities were conveniently located (plenty of parking on the street and a lot across the street if required), clean, and calming. The pricing really can’t be beat for the services he offers. Tim is professional, friendly, and charismatic. He quickly assuaged any apprehension I had about any waxing related discomfort by telling me what to expect. I had some *sensitive* areas waxed and after the initial strip, the rest was a breeze. I actually chuckled through it. I highly recommend his services.
