Dr. Andrew Zakarian has a diverse background in dentistry and aesthetics. He completed his dental studies at the College of Dentistry at New York University before completing advanced treatment research and work at Columbia University’s Department of Periodontology in New York City. Dr. Zakarian also holds his Master’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology, providing him with further insight into the effects of dental problems and aesthetic treatments that promote oral and overall health. With over 30 years of experience in general dentistry, Dr. Zakarian has also taught residency programs in Manhattan, New York, before entering private practice in San Diego, California. As a part owner of Palmer Skin, Dr. Zakarian is excited to bring his expertise and passion for compassionate care to the field of aesthetic treatments. In addition to his love for aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Zakarian is also an avid horseman and enjoys exploring the beautiful Southern California scenery on long-distance bicycle trips.
